Family Adventure Collective - Paddle n Play Kayaking Adventure

Ready for a fun-filled, action-packed family adventure on the water?

Join us at the Mandurah Estuary for the Paddle n Play: Kayaking Adventure, a unique and exciting event where families come together to enjoy a series of thrilling kayak-based games, water challenges, and outdoor activities. This fun event, designed for families with kids aged 8yrs and up, is the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the Mandurah Estuary while bonding over healthy outdoor competition.

Throughout the event, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a variety of exciting and engaging games, starting with the Kayak Tug-of-War, where families will battle it out to see who can pull the hardest across the water. Test your coordination and teamwork in the Kayak Relay Races, where participants will work in pairs to navigate their kayaks through a series of fun and challenging checkpoints. Then, gear up for the Obstacle Course Challenge, where participants of all ages will paddle, weave, and navigate their way through a series of fun water obstacles, designed to test your paddling skills and stamina. To add an extra layer of excitement, we’ll be hosting an interactive Scavenger Hunt, encouraging participants to explore the area and identify local wildlife and natural features along the estuary. This is a fantastic way to connect with nature and learn about the environment while having a blast!

The event is hosted on the beautiful Mandurah Estuary, offering the perfect backdrop for these aquatic adventures. The serene and picturesque environment will provide a calm and safe space for families to paddle, play, and connect. With kayaks and life vests provided, participants of all skill levels will be able to join in the fun, whether you’re a seasoned kayaker or new to the sport. This three-hour event is more than just a fun day out on the water – it’s a chance to create lasting memories with your loved ones, build teamwork, and explore the stunning natural surroundings of the Mandurah Estuary.

Whether you're racing through the relay, working together in the tug-of-war, or taking on the obstacle course, there’s something for everyone in this family-friendly outdoor adventure.

Activity length and difficulty: Easy paddling experience no more than 2km

We supply: All equipment including kayaks, safety, games and team building exercises, prizes, safety briefing and professional guide/s.

Meeting point: Waterways Adventure Hub, Western Foreshore, Mandurah. The activity ends at the same point.

Time: 9.00am start, 12.00pm finish approx (Please allow extra time if possible)

Cost: $65 covers 1 parent and 1 child. $25 per extra persons (Suitable ages 8 & over.)
